Are you or your organization looking to get involved? Then here is your opportunity to get together with millions of other people around the world and go beyond the use of fossil fuels. On September 23, 2011 Mission Green Student Association and PBSC Ecology Club are teaming up to host our first annual 350.org Moving Planet Day, a day where FAU and PBSC students will march (Bike, Skate, Foot, Roller Blade, Scooter) through the streets of Boca Raton to show our support for a fossil free future. We will begin the march at Engineering East and head 3 miles to Spanish River Park.
Please bring your own water (preferably in a reusable bottle) and any recreation equipment you would like.
Please Note: We are holding our event on Friday September 23.
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 pm *Set up beginning 12:30

Please try taking Tri-Rail or Palm Tran to get to FAU, or if you live close by bike to the meet up location.
Directions: Take I-95 to Glades Road and go East to FAU Blvd (second entrance). Follow the route on Google maps above to find the check-in point.
Parking: There is limited parking at the check-in location. You may have to park at Palm Beach State College in the Aqua or Rose lot and walk (or bike/skate/rollerblade, etc) over to the check-in point.
